Key Role

To create designs and produce full colour visuals of exhibition stands for a broad range of clients and industries.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train team members.
  • To provide an active involvement at each stage of the process from conception to construction.
  • Liaise with and offer full support to all relevant parties from initial client to sales rep, through to Production and Finishing.
  • Assist with the scheduling and meeting of deadlines for all 3D work.
  • Database management (Vectorworks).
  • Liaise with other Nomadic locations in Europe, USA and Ireland.
  • Update and expand library of Nomadic components.
  • Maintain required paperwork and ensure daily backup of work.
  • Giving occasional assistance to 2D design depending on workflows.
  • Advise General Manager of any equipment or software failures.
  • Other relevant ad hoc duties as required.
  • Maintenance of Macintosh and ensuring that work area is presentable for client visits.

Experience:
  • Experienced with CAD - Vectorworks preferred.
  • Experienced with a 3D visualisation package- Artlantis preferred.
  • Background in exhibitions preferred but not essential. Background in interiors, space planning, product design also considered.
  • Macintosh experience desirable.

Associated Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign / Quark desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work paid overtime as and when required.

The projects run to strict deadlines and demand a rigorous and efficient workflow. The solutions provided need to be dynamic, innovative, modular and appealing. The role also demands that you liaise with and offer support to all relevant parties from initial client to sales rep, all the way through to finishing and show services.
