How do I get to Olympia London?

Whether you are traveling by road, rail or air, there are superb transport links to Olympia, London.  However, public transport is highly recommended.

How do I get to Olympia by train or tube?

Kensington Olympia is the closest overground station right next to the venue.  It’s just one stop from Shepherd’s bush (Central Line) or West Brompton (District Line) and is well connected from Clapham Junction.

It is a 9 minute walk from Barons Court on the Piccadilly Line.

Hammersmith is serviced by the Hammersmith and City Line and Circle Line and is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride.

High Street Kensington on the Circle Line is a 4 minute bus ride or 12 minute walk.

How far is Olympia from Euston station?

It’s just 4 miles so it’s maybe worth getting a taxi.  If not, it takes 30-40 minutes via underground but is not direct or 25 minutes via the 27 Bus.

23 – runs to and from Westbourne Park and Hammersmith

27 – runs to and from Chalk Farm and Turnham Green

Driving to Olympia

The postcode for Olympia is – W14 8UX – so if you have a satnav it’s easy to find.   The venue is signposted and close to the M4 motorway.

Travelling by Air to Olympia

From Gatwick – Simply jump on the 30 minute train from Gatwick to Clapham Junction. Then change onto the Overground, direct to Kensington (Olympia).

From Heathrow – The Piccadilly line goes straight to Heathrow directly to Baron’s Court. Then Olympia London is only a 5 minute bus ride, or 9 minute walk. Alternatively, take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington. Then travel to Hammersmith, using the Circle or Hammersmith & City Line.

From Stansted – Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street, the Central Line to Shepherd’s Bush and then take the overground one stop to Kensington (Olympia).

From City Airport – Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Bank and change to on the Central Line to Shepherd’s Bush and then take the overground one stop to Kensington (Olympia).

From Luton Airport – Take the train from Luton airport to St Pancras, change on to the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus and change on to the Central Line to Shepherd’s Bush and then take the overground one stop to Kensington (Olympia).

What is near Olympia London?

As Olympia is well connected by London transport it is easy to access most of London, but there are a wide variety of hotel and restaurants in the surrounding areas. Use popular travel and review sites to explore all the available options.
